Green Man Jianghuai is the first non-governmental environmental organization in Anhui, established on September 24, 2003. Green Man Jianghuai has also won the FordMotor Environmental Protection Award five times, was selected as an "excellent public welfare project" by the China Environmental Protection Foundation and the United Nations Development Programme in 2014, and was awarded the "2022 National Biodiversity Conservation Excellent Case" by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment in 2022. After 20 years of establishment and development,Green Man Jianghuai has become the most credible and influential social organization in Anhui, contributing to the environmental protection and social development of Anhui. It has become one of the iconic organizations in Anhui.

In March 2018, Taohuayuan Ecological Protection Foundation, Lvman Jianghuai and Mount Huangshan District People's Government jointly signed the Entrusted Management Agreement for Jiulongfeng Provincial Nature Reserve in Mount Huangshan, Anhui Province, authorizing the establishment of Lvman Jianghuai Nature Reserve Center in Mount Huangshan District, Mount Huangshan City, to carry out protection management. Green Man Jianghuai has successively undertaken the implementation of environmental education projects of Mount Huangshan Scenic Area Management Committee, Xianju National Park, China Environmental ProtectionFoundation, Dow Chemical and other governments, foundations and enterprises.

In 2023, the transformation of Mount Huangshan Lvman Jianghuai Nature Reserve Center in Mount Huangshan District will focus onthe protection and community development of nature reserves, capacity building of nature reserves, natural education and eco-tourism. It has undertaken nearly 10 natural conservation projects, including the China Environmental Protection Foundation, Anhui Forestry Bureau, Mount Huangshan GEF Project Office, Zhejiang Xianju National Park Management Committee, Shanghai Lianquan Public Welfare Foundation, Taohuayuan Ecological Protection Foundation, the United Nations Development Programme GEF Small Grant Project, Ede Foundation, SEE Foundation, Zhejiang Smile Tomorrow Foundation, Dow Chemical, respectively on the capacity improvement of natural reserves, biodiversity protection, climate change response, scientific research monitoring, community co management, zero waste management, science popularization and environmental education, consulting services, and so on.

Mount Huangshan Mount Huangshan Lvman Jianghuai Nature Conservation Center has successively won the "Excellent Case of Biodiversity Conservation" issued by the Ministry of Ecological Environment, the top 4 of the World Economic Forum (Davos) -Biodiversity Conservation Challenge, the Outstanding Contribution Award of the "Mount Huangshan Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Utilization Project" issued by the FAO, the "Recommend Self recommended Eco tourism Routes" issued by the Ford Environmental Protection Award, and the "exemplary organization for Poverty Alleviation" issued by the Mount Huangshan Civil Affairs Bureau.
